The Integrity Homeschool Drill Team has had a great year performing in local parades in the Pierce County area. We work to uphold moral principles and integrity as we practice as a team and perform in public and partner with the community. Girls are required to practice hard and do their very best during each performance with a smile despite obstacles that may come their way on performance day, whether rain, wind or snow. Integrity Homeschool Drill Team is open to homeschooled girls ages 11-19 and is a short-term commitment as the girls work towards a routine for the parade performance. Integrity Homeschool drill Team is a team of homeschoolers, ages 11-18, (younger with special permission.) brought together to participate in local area parades. By meeting together and learning marching routines, team members may develop coordination, confidence and perseverance through dedication to hard work and team commitment. They are also given opportunities to grow in their interpersonal relationships- making friends with peers that may last a lifetime. Working together as a team allows the girls opportunities to increase leadership skills and also be an active participant in community events. I have been working with girls in two different Homeschooling Co-ops for the past 9 years participating in Parades in Pierce County, including The Daffodil, Puyallup Santa Parade and the Puyallup Fair Rodeo Parade. I am looking to partner with homeschooling families to create a team of homeschoolers, in the community, to participate in local parades.
